The last 4 week trial of our late night Thursday opening hours has taken off well so it will continue to be an every Thursday thing.

So today the RSL is open again from 4.30pm-7.30pm.

🚶 Great news for Piangil! 👏

We've secured funding through the Victorian Government’s Flexible Local Transport Solutions Program 2025-26 to deliver new footpath connections throughout the township.

The project will improve safe pedestrian access between key community facilities and make it easier for residents and visitors to move around town safely. 🥰

Works will include:
✅ New footpath along Murray Street from Church Street through to the service station
✅ New footpath along Hall Street connecting Murray Street to Memorial Park
✅ New footpath along Beveridge Street connecting Murray Street to the Memorial

Ground all levelled and new gravel laid.
Big effort by a few members, especially Kev and Brian for a few days of raking.
A great upgrade making our RSL not only look amazing but safer to walk on 😊
