PWYK Harmony Hub and Music & Movement celebrates:
💛 Infant Mental Health Awareness Week 💛
This week (8th-14th June) shines a light on the emotional wellbeing, secure attachment and early social development of babies and toddlers. These first relationships — the way we connect, respond and attune to our little ones — form the foundation for their future mental health.
This year’s theme is “Attunement” — the simple but powerful act of noticing, understanding and responding to a baby’s cues. When caregivers are attuned, children feel safe, seen and supported as they grow.
🎨 Painting Our Feelings
Children chose colours to match their emotions — from happy yellows to excited rainbows and a few masterpieces that showed every feeling at once 😂
🥰 Loved, Safe and Happy
At the collage table, our paper people were decorated with smiles, hearts and emotion stickers. Every creation reflected what we value at PWYK — feeling safe, loved and included.
🍽️ Outdoor Kitchen Fun
Our little chefs cooked up birthday cakes, spaghetti soup and magical milkshakes. The Sultana Bran sensory tray was a hit… and also a tasty temptation for a few cheeky testers 😂
🎶 Music, Movement & Play
Singing, dancing and imaginative play filled the morning as children explored and connected with friends.
💜 GOOD NEWS STORY
We all enjoyed our big group painting outside on the canvas, where the children painted mystery pictures and the adults had to guess what they were. Let’s just say the imaginations were HUGE 😂 and the adults definitely had to think outside the box!
