As I ponder the future of Australia in light of the upcoming 2025 Federal elections, I am buoyed by the results of the Greens' balance of power in the Senate. So far they have enabled and passed legislation including:
- The water trigger;
- An inquiry into Coles & Woolies to stop price gouging;
- Holding PWC to account for the tax leaks scandal;
- Securing $3bn of housing investment for public and community housing;
- Improving Labor’s nature laws – removing dodgy offsets that pay corporations who destroy nature.

Imagine what could be achieved for social environmental and economic equity and justice if the Greens also had the balance of power in the House of Representatives. Achieving this is my goal for 2025. Will you take on this challenge with me? 🤗

We’ll work together to build a strong progressive movement, community campaigns for change and the representation in parliament that Australians want and deserve.
