Do NOT kid yourselves... There WILL come a time in the future, when/where we will be lawfully allowed to defend ourselves with deadly force. And that will be a good day for all the victims in waiting, out there in Australia right now.
The elderly and infirm, those with disabilities, women targeted by bigger stronger assailants, children/teenagers (once properly trained and certified of course), those who are unconfident in their physical abilities against an attacker/s, and just those who don't want to be a victim (basically EVERYONE ELSE).
I WILL celebrate on that day, and I hope it is sooner rather than later.
Here is a perfect example, of a potential victim, taking their own defence into their own hands, not relying on the state to protect them, and coming out on top unscathed.
Our police have a tough job. And apart from all day and night long, dealing with things the rest of us can only imagine, they are spread extremely thin. So relying on the police to make it to your property/house in time, during an attack/home invasion, is unrealistic and out right dangerous thinking.
Hiding and calling police never works (because they are always minutes away when seconds count). Cooperating with the attackers holds the inherent risk of them turning on you anyways. So the only remaining option is to go on the offensive and drive them from your home. And the only way to do this effectively, is to have the resources/tools to do so, and the legislation to back you up after the fact.
Our leaders are safe in their ivory towers, with 24/7 security, and armed personal protection at all times (I actually have a friend who does this for a living and have confirmed this for myself). They are never at risk of being attacked. They are never at risk of suffering a home invasion. They are so used to living this safe, secured, armed protection type of lifestyle, they have literally forgotten what the real world is like. They have blinkers next to each eyeball. They literally do not know what the world is like for us every day ordinary citizens, and are so out of touch, they don't realise how dangerous the world has become.
When will our leaders make a change and allow us to LEGALLY protect ourselves, our families and friends, our homes and property, and even our neighbours and fellow man?
It will only happen, when we replace each and every one of them, with a member of the public, an every day ordinary AUSTRALIAN, who has seen the world for what it is.
It is up to you the people, to vote accordingly. It is up to you the people to vote for the minor parties and independent candidates. It is up to you the people to vote all of these parties and people out of office. They no longer represent us. They represent themselves, their wallets, their corporate buddies, and (may sound conspiracy like) the Chinese, selling off ports and rail, huge swathes of land, mines, airports (and allowing them to build private Chinese owned airstrips/airports etc), and they represent their mining and logging buddies.
It's up to you. It's up to me. It's up to everyone. Do we really want to keep going down this scary, horrendous, dangerous, track we are on, to be a nation of victims in waiting?
I know my answer!
