80th Philippines-Australia Friendship Anniversary Western Australia

Last March 1, 2026 - Filipino International Students gathered for a meaningful Post Arrival Orientation hosted by the Philippine Embassy in Canberra at Estrin Saul Migration Specialists. The session was led by Philippine Ambassador to Australia Antonio Morales and Philippine Consulate Melissa Dalisay Aguasa, who warmly welcomed everyone and shared valuable guidance about living, studying, and working in Australia. It was an afternoon filled with practical advice, encouragement, and reminders that no matter how far we travel, we carry our roots with us.

The orientation created a safe space for students to ask questions, learn about their rights and responsibilities, and connect with fellow kababayans. Beyond the information shared, what truly stood out was the strong sense of community and support. It was not just an orientation, but a reassuring reminder that the Filipino community and our leaders are here to guide and uplift us as we build our dreams abroad.
