Being All In starts with how we listen, learn and show up.

At Uniting WA, it’s about committing to reconciliation not just in words, but through meaningful and ongoing action.

This National Reconciliation Week, alongside Reconciliation WA and Reconciliation Australia, we asked our team what being All In means to them. This is what they told us.

💬 Comment down below what being All In means to you.

What a day at ! 🏃‍♀️💜

We want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who walked, ran and fundraised for us at yesterday's HBF Run for a Reason 2026 Live. From the Talent Quarter team, to people we've supported in the past paying it forward and our own Uniting team. It was so great to see personal goals kicked and important funds raised for an important cause.

We’re proud to share exciting news!

We’ve been named a Top 3 finalist in the Excellence in Disability Support Work category at the 2026 Disability Support Awards.

It’s an incredible honour to be recognised alongside so many inspiring individuals and organisations making a difference across WA.

This achievement belongs to our amazing team, whose dedication, compassion and commitment to supporting people with disability is at the heart of everything we do.

Congratulations to all finalists and winners, and thank you to National Disability Services for celebrating excellence in disability support.

Do you know someone doing great things and deserving of recognition? Let us know in the comments! We’d love to celebrate them.

Paul’s story reveals a side of homelessness most people never see and challenges the myths many of us believe.

Paul never imagined he’d be without a safe place to call home, but homelessness doesn’t always look the way we expect. As winter approaches, more families face cold nights with nowhere to go.

Your donation can provide warmth, safety and real support when it’s needed most. Help bust the myths and help someone survive this winter.

A huge thank you to the Wagin Uniting Patchwork Group for donating 14 beautiful, cosy patchwork quilts to Wyn Carr House – Uniting WA’s new specialist accommodation and support facility for older women facing homelessness.

Uniting WA CEO Jen Park was delighted to receive the quilts, which will help older women feel welcomed and cared for as they begin a new chapter. Older women are now one of the fastest growing groups experiencing homelessness in WA.

Recently opened by Minister for Housing and Works John Carey and Minister for Homelessness Matthew Swinbourn, Wyn Carr House was recently refurbished with support from the WA Government, Lotterywest, Housing All Australians and the local community.

From caring hands to supporting the vulnerable – this is what community connection looks like.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring Wyn Carr House to life. 🏡

Led by Uniting WA alongside the Department of Housing and Works WA, Lotterywest as well as major partner Housing All Australians and our generous supporters, this historic site has been transformed into a safe place for vulnerable women at risk of homelessness.

Why are older women the fastest growing group experiencing homelessness?

For many women, a lifetime of inequality leads to insecurity later in life.

Lower superannuation, time out of work caring for others as well as unaffordable housing are placing more older women at risk of homelessness.

At the end of the day, everyone deserves a safe place to call home.
