I am pleased to confirm that the powder we are using for the colour run is Australian Made Colour Powder is 100% made by a company in Coolum Beach, Queensland, Australia using Australian grown wheatstarch processed by Manildra Group (https://www.manildra.com.au/locally) with food certified dye from All Colour Supplies (https://www.allcoloursupplies.com.au/) . Our product is manufactured to Australian standards to ensure both quality and safety.

We confirm that the colour powder contains absolutely no asbestos or asbestos-containing materials. All ingredients are non-toxic, skin-safe, and compliant with Australian safety guidelines for use in schools, events, and community activities.

Given the recent concerns regarding imported products containing asbestos, we want to reassure you that the manufacturing process is entirely domestic and fully controlled, allowing us to guarantee the integrity and safety of every bag produced.

🌈 OSBORNE PRIMARY COLOUR SPLASH DAY IS OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED! 🌈

Our biggest and brightest fundraiser of the year is here — Colour Splash Day, proudly hosted by the Osborne Primary P&C!

📅 Friday, 5th December 2025

This year, we are running our own DIY Colour Splash Day, which means every dollar raised goes directly back to supporting our school — specifically new home-reading and library books for our students.

💰 Whole-school fundraising goal: $17,500
Every class has their own goal and is racing toward it — first class to reach their target gets a Pizza Party, and all classes that reach their goals will enjoy a Movie Party with snacks.

🏆 Prizes + Rewards
• Highest fundraiser from each class wins a $50 FUNLAB voucher
• Overall highest fundraiser wins an additional $100 FUNLAB voucher
• Each week, students who increase their total by $10 will receive an icy pole
• The classroom that raises the highest total wins the Colour/Water Splash Day Trophy

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family can join the run!
Friends and siblings are welcome — just a gold coin donation if they would like to participate in the run.

Refer to communication sent out last week.

💡 How to donate
• Donate online via the Osborne Primary P&C fundraising site — please include student name and class so their total counts.
• Cash donations can be returned in a sealed envelope labelled with student name & class into the P&C box at the office.

🙌 Volunteers needed!
We need helpers for colour stations, water stations, and post-run support.

Event cannot proceed without enough volunteers.
