Mentor Me Reconnect Program 2025 Planning Underway!

Weโ€™re thrilled to announce that planning for MMRP 2025 is officially in motion!

This week, we met with the principal and teachers at Irene McCormack Catholic College to map out this yearโ€™s program. OACWA has been running MMRP annually as part of the school calendar, and the school management is eager to see it return in 2025. The enthusiasm in the room was inspiring as both teams collaborated on delivering an impactful experience for Year 7 to 10 students in a culturally supportive way.

Whatโ€™s in store?
๐Ÿ”น Weekly mentoring sessions to guide and support students.
๐Ÿ”น Culturally appropriate mentoring to help students grow and thrive.
๐Ÿ”น A focus on building confidence, resilience, and life skills.
๐Ÿ”น 3 Schools (Irene McCormack, Aveley Secondary College and Y Vocational School)
๐Ÿ”น Community based Mentoring (Individual referrals from Department of Justice and WA African Community)

๐Ÿ“ข Weโ€™re looking for mentors! If you're passionate about making a positive impact in young people's lives, now is your chance to join our team. Let's work together to shape brighter futures!

๐Ÿ“ฉ Please get in touch with our office on [email protected] or 0411 960 718 to get involved.
