EMAS Curtin The Electronic Music Appreciation Society of Curtin Welcome to EMAS Curtin!

EMAS Curtin is a reputable university club formed in early 2014, centred on the appreciation and passion of all electronic dance music genres. Formed from a previous music enthusiast club that held similar values to what the club does today, EMAS Curtin was initially created as a branch of EMAS UWA, but quickly became an independent powerhouse on the Bentley campus, running uni and club events, DJ

lessons, Production lessons and Industry networking nights. We hope to bring people together to share these interests and create a community that fosters all aspects of electronic music. Notable Achievements:

🎧 Learn how to DJ!
No experience needed just bring your love for music.

Starts Thursday 12 March 2026
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: 402.314
5 weeks (2 hours per session)

Learn the fundamentals of DJing: structuring a set, beatmatching tracks, smooth transitions, and understanding the equipment used in clubs and venues. Each session includes demos and hands-on practice so you can start developing your own sets.

We’ll finish with a friendly DJ competition, and the winner will get the chance to perform at a future EMAS event in front of a real crowd.
