With 40,000+ people hitting Gloucester Park for the HBF Run for a Reason, the area will be buzzing! Here’s what you need to know:

🛑 Traffic & Parking: Expect major road closures and heavily restricted parking. Please allow extra travel time or take public transport.

We’re lucky enough to have the event finishing right on our doorstep at the WACA Ground! Swing by The Pavilion afterwards for the ultimate post run recovery in the pool, or unwind in our recovery room. 💆

✨ Welcome to Week 3 of Mindful May!

Last week, we practiced finding stillness in the chaos. This week, we’re focusing on how we close our day with Evening Self Care. 🌙

As part of Mindful May we’re exploring how evening self care is the intentional bridge between the active, demanding hours of your day and the deep restoration of the night. Instead of just crashing into bed with a racing mind, a structured p.m. routine gently signals to your brain and body that it is safe to finally power down and relax! 🧘‍♀️

However, switching off effectively to position yourself for an evening of rest is quite difficult especially with the stressors of everyday life. There is no one size fits all formula, routine will look different for everyone.

👉 Head to the BlueFit Health Club App and elevate your evening self care. We've also set up virtual Body Balance sessions for selected facilities! Check the app for your facility’s virtual class timetable and session times.

Welcome to Week 2 of Mindful May! ✨

This week, we’re focusing The Art of Stillness. In our fast paced lives, it's crucial to intentionally activate our parasympathetic nervous system (our rest and digest mode) rather than keeping our bodies in a constant, heightened state of stress.

Think about the feeling of wrapping up a draining day at the office. You've made the effort to get to the gym to shake off the stress and the stiffness. Yet, rather than jumping right onto the treadmill or scrolling through notifications to distract yourself, what if you sought out a peaceful spot?

Take just five minutes to hit the pause button, tuning into the present moment. 🧘‍♀️

✨ Member Spotlight: Kerri ✨

Since starting here at The Pavilion, Kerri has achieved an incredible milestone, losing almost 30kg through determination and consistency!

After undergoing surgery on her leg following a major injury, Kerri committed herself to recovery in the most inspiring way by swimming 3km every single day. Thanks to her dedication, she’s now back on her feet and able to walk around again!

Despite a recent setback that required a hospital stay, Kerri stopped by to let us know she’s on the mend and making a speedy recovery. We can’t wait to have her back!

Kerri’s bubbly personality, bright dresses, and fabulous fascinators make her a truly loved part of our community 💙

Congratulations to our very first Swimmers of the Month, Aavish & Aadish! 🌟

Both Aavish and Aadish have excelled in our Jellyfish level, gaining confidence using their goggles to submerge and kick independently.

Their swim teacher Bri says they are a joy to teach with their positive can do attitudes. 🏊‍♂️
