Sometimes the best way to wash your worries away is with a little playtime in the water πŸ’¦πŸ¦§

Astuti was having the best time splashing around in a stream at Jungle School, completely lost in the fun. For young orangutans, play is so important. It helps them learn, explore, and sometimes forget all their troubles for a while ❀️

Who else still enjoys a bath to ease your worries? πŸ˜„

We couldn't resist sharing this hilarious throwback of Popi at Jungle School. πŸ˜‚ There is just SO much happening here.

Popi was released last August and is now living wild and free in the Busang Ecosystem in East Borneo. We miss her beautiful personality and her Jungle School antics, but we couldn't be more thrilled that she's out there living the wild life she was born to have. 🦧🌿

Here's to you, Popi. May you always make us laugh.

Did you know rescued orangutans can't simply be set free anywhere? They need a large, healthy forest – one with the right food trees, enough space, and the protection that gives them the best chance of survival.

And we have found that exact place. A place where rescued orangutans like Jack can live the wild life they were born to have. This place is in the Busang-Wehea Ecosystem in Borneo, and we need your help to turn it into a thriving release camp.

You can give Jack, and orangutans like him, a wild place to call home πŸ”— https://bit.ly/4wXyFCv

Meet our precious APE Achiever of the month...little Bow!

Bow was stolen from the forest, taken from her mother, and shipped all the way to Thailand. But thanks to the support of an amazing community, she was rescued from the horrors of the black market, and safely brought back home to Sumatra, where she belongs.

Bow has started Baby Jungle School, built a special friendship with Maximus, and is slowly growing in confidence. Her feisty personality is starting to shine, she's exploring, learning and taking her first steps on journey back to the wild.

Meet Bow and read more about her first days in Baby Jungle School πŸ”— https://bit.ly/4uyRLNr

Can you guess who these two climbing experts are?

Hint: they are both at our SRA rescue centre in North Sumatra, and they are both the sweetest souls!

This video shows them practising their climbing and swinging skills together at Jungle School. They are both doing so well, and have the sweetest little bond.

Thank you to our amazing community for helping these two find their way back to forest freedom 🧑

He was chained as a baby.
He was stolen from his mother.
He was sold as an illegal pet.

His name is Jack. He is 22 months old.

Today, Jack is healing. But he needs somewhere safe to go home to.

You can give him that.

Donate by June 30 and help build a release camp in the forests of Borneo and give rescued orangutans like Jack the future they deserve. πŸ”— https://bit.ly/49e2hkJ

Aman is putting those strong orangutan teeth to work! 🦧πŸ₯₯πŸ’ͺ

Crunching through a refreshing coconut at Jungle School like it’s nothing. Safe to say Aman’s snack game is strong.

Hands up if you now have the coconut song stuck in your head? πŸ˜„ πŸ™‹

Pansy enjoying some food enrichment at Baby Jungle School!

Enrichment is a vital part of orangutan rehabilitation, especially for such young orangutans like Pansy. Enrichment activities help keep orangutans physically active and mentally stimulated. Plus, they help them practise natural behaviours they’ll need in the wild, like foraging for food and problem solving.

And bonus points to Pansy for giving it a go WHILST climbing! You go girl πŸ’ͺ
