The best school canteen in all of WA, Koolbardi Canteen, is looking for a new manager. This role would suit a Highgate PS community member with a background in food service, people management or early childhood education.
Duties include rostering, volunteer coordination, stock control, safe food production and kitchen hygiene maintenance. The ideal candidate would be an efficient, friendly person with an interest in promoting healthy eating and fostering a sense of community within the school.
Expectation is 25 - 30 hours a week, over 3-5 days, with occasional events out of hours. The P&C can pay for training in school canteen management, or aspects of food service, such as barista training. The successful applicant does not have to have prior experience in this canteen, or be a Highgate school parent, if you know someone with cafe, kitchen, customer service, or school and childcare experience please send them this ad and encourage them to apply.
