👂🚐 Pilbara East, we're on the road and heading your way!

This week, the Earbus team will be visiting Port Hedland, South Hedland, Strelley, Warralong and Marble Bar, bringing free ear and hearing health services to local communities across the region. 💙

We love getting out to the Pilbara, meeting families, connecting with communities and helping children access the care they need to support healthy hearing and bright futures.

From the coast to the inland communities, we're looking forward to catching up with familiar faces and meeting plenty of new ones along the way.

✈️✈️🚌 Two flights, dusty roads and a long journey across the Kimberley... all to help keep little ears healthy! 👂💙

Our team recently travelled to Manjali Studio School in the Kimberley, where Andrea (Head of Clinical Services), Zee (Audiologist) and Michelle (Nurse Practitioner) provided ear health screening and shared the important Breathe Cough Blow message with students.

What is Breathe Cough Blow?

It's a simple way to help children keep their ears healthy:
👃 Breathe through your nose
😮‍💨 Cough when you need to
🤧 Blow your nose regularly

These small actions can make a big difference in preventing ear problems and supporting healthy hearing.

Hearing is vital for learning, communication and confidence. When children can hear well, they're better able to engage in the classroom, connect with others and reach their full potential.

Getting to remote communities isn't always easy, but every kilometre travelled is worth it when it helps support children's health and learning.

A huge thank you to the students and staff at Manjali Studio School for welcoming us. We're grateful for the opportunity to work alongside communities across the Kimberley to promote healthy ears and healthy futures.

What a wonderful day celebrating the launch of the Buranymarda Marugundi Program in Geraldton! 💙🧡

We were thrilled to officially launch this exciting partnership between Ear Foundation Australia and Teach Speak Hear, alongside community members, schools, families and supporters from across the Mid West.

The event brought together community members, partners, educators and families to celebrate a shared commitment to improving outcomes for children across the Mid West.

Ear Foundation Australia CEO Dr Lara Shur and Teach Speak Hear CEO Dr Carole Steketee who shared their vision for the program and what it means for local children and families. The event also saw the announcement of winning students' artwork that will be proudly displayed on our mobile clinic bus.

Buranymarda Marugundi, meaning Good Strong Tomorrow in Badimaya language, will bring free hearing health, speech, language and occupational therapy services to children across the Mid West. Through this partnership, we're helping make it easier for families to access the support children need to learn, grow and thrive.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the launch such a special occasion. We were also excited to have Channel 7 Regional News there to capture the day.
