🚍 The Earbus team is in the Pilbara this week!

This week we're travelling through the region, visiting schools and communities in Tom Price and Paraburdoo to deliver ear and hearing health checks for local children.

Long drives, red dirt roads and plenty of friendly faces are all part of the journey as we take ear health services directly to the communities that need them most. 👂💙

We're looking forward to another great week in the Pilbara, supporting healthy hearing and helping children stay connected to learning, friends and everyday opportunities.

The Earbus team is back in the region this week, visiting schools and communities to help keep children's ears healthy and hearing strong.

There's nothing better than getting out on the road, connecting with communities and making sure children can access the care they need close to home.

What a fantastic day at the Telethon Family Festival yesterday! 💙👂

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Ear Foundation Australia stall to say hello, learn more about ear and hearing health, and support our work.

We’re proud to be a Telethon beneficiary in 2026 and to be part of an event that brings the community together while helping create brighter futures for children across Western Australia. Telethon's support plays an important role in helping us deliver essential hearing, health and allied health services to children in remote and regional communities, ensuring they have the opportunity to hear, learn and thrive.

Thank you to the Telethon team, fellow beneficiaries, volunteers and the thousands of families who made the day so special. We love being part of this incredible community event and can't wait to do it all again next year!

We're back on the road visiting schools and communities across the region, helping children access ear and hearing health checks closer to home. Regular ear health checks can make a big difference to a child's learning, communication and overall wellbeing.

🚐☀️ The school holidays are behind us, and our Pilbara East Earbus team is back out on the road!

Over the coming weeks, we'll be travelling across the region, visiting schools and helping students get the best start to the term with ear and hearing health checks. 👂

Good hearing plays an important role in learning, communication and confidence in the classroom. By bringing services directly to remote communities, we're helping ensure children have access to the care they need, close to home.

Pilbara East, we're looking forward to reconnecting with schools, students and families throughout Term 4. 💙

👂🧡 It’s all about connection.

Our Pilbara East Earbus team loved welcoming WA Police Community Liaison Officers for a hearing check when they joined a recent Father’s Day event at Yandarra. They even snapped a few photos of our nurse Kristie putting them through their hearing tests! 📸

In South Hedland, a new relationship with is also helping children and families connect with our team for ear and hearing checks, creating more opportunities for early care and ongoing support.

And making these connections means covering plenty of kilometres. Each term, our team takes to the road to visit communities across the Pilbara, travelling long distances and some pretty rugged roads along the way. 🚌🛣️ Keeping the Earbus maintained, safe and ready for every trip is an essential part of bringing care to communities. It’s all part of staying connected and bringing ear care closer to communities across the Pilbara. 👂🧡

🏆💙 We’re thrilled to be named the winner of the Pilbara Heart of Inclusion Award!

The award was presented at the 2026 Pilbara Community Services Excellence Awards gala dinner in Hedland on Saturday night, with our speech therapist Dianne Raby and nurse Kristie Orchard proudly accepting on behalf of Ear Foundation Australia.

This year’s theme, Heart of the Pilbara, celebrates the passion, resilience and purpose of people and organisations strengthening communities across the region.

Dianne and Kristie loved meeting so many inspiring people doing incredible work across the Pilbara. We’re proud and humbled to be recognised alongside them and to celebrate all that is being achieved across our communities. 💙
