Our Deadly Sista Girlz have been busy creating and crafting their artworks for our 2026 NAIDOC Week Art Exhibition at Central Park Tower!

We’ve been lucky to have talented artist and DSG alumni, Erika, leading creative workshops with the girls, sharing her skills and supporting them to bring their ideas to life.
We also welcomed visits from our exhibition partners, HIF Australia and Central Park Perth who came by to connect with the students and see their artwork in progress

A selection of submitted artworks will be chosen for display during NAIDOC Week, celebrating the strength and stories of our community. For more information and to register your interest, visit the link in our bio 🔗

Former Deadly Sista Girlz participant Kyla, a proud Kuku Yalanji woman from Queensland, has stepped confidently into her role as a Customer Service Agent with Qantas. After being part of the DSG program at Halls Head College, she’s now enjoying her role and says every day looks different, with her favourite part being watching the excitement of people setting off on their trips
Kyla says the Deadly Sista Girlz program offered ongoing support during her school years.
“I could go there for support with my schoolwork or career, plus there were some really good opportunities and excursions.”
Our DSG mentors offer a stable environment and aim to engage, educate, and empower girls to make positive choices for their health and futures⭐

National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to reflect on how we can each contribute to reconciliation.
This year’s theme, “All In,” calls on everyone to take action and play an active role in creating change, reinforcing that reconciliation is something we all have a responsibility to be part of every day.
Our Deadly Sista Girlz (DSG) program aims to reflect this by empowering young First Nations girls to be proud in who they are and confident in their futures. By strengthening identity, building self-esteem and creating culturally safe spaces, DSG supports young women to thrive in education, health and life.
Through strong First Nations mentorship and guidance, the program helps young girls navigate challenges, make positive choices, and stay connected to culture, supporting the next generation to grow into strong confident young people within their communities 🩷
