🌸 Nippon Connect Society – Meet & Greet Success! πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅βœ¨

Yesterday, we successfully hosted our Meet & Greet event at ECU Joondalup Campus, marking our first event of Semester 2026. It was a fantastic opportunity to welcome students, share Japanese culture, and connect with both new and returning members of our community.

We were especially honoured to welcome ECU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Clare Po***ck, who stopped by to visit our event. She joined us in enjoying some sushi and even took part in our fun chopstick challenge! It was truly a privilege to have her spend time with us and show her support for our club and cultural initiatives. We were delighted to hear that she loves sushi very much! 🍣

This event was made even more special through our collaboration with the ECU Wellbeing Club, and we sincerely thank them for joining us and bringing creative wellbeing activities for everyone to enjoy.

We would also like to extend our special thanks to ECU Guild for their continuous support of our club and student initiatives. Their encouragement helps us create meaningful cultural experiences for the ECU community.

We are incredibly proud to see so many new members signing up and joining the Nippon Connect Society family.

Your enthusiasm and support continue to strengthen our community.

Stay tuned β€” we will soon be announcing our weekly activities and upcoming events for all members, with many exciting opportunities to explore and celebrate Japanese culture together.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported our first event of the semester.

Nippon Connect Society continues to grow as one of ECU’s most vibrant communities celebrating Japanese culture.
