With more than 15 years of DJ experience, Lance knows how to get the good vibes flowing.

🇳🇿 Originally from Hamilton, New Zealand, he’s spent years bringing people together through music. When he’s not working on his music, he’s always keeping fit 💪🎾🚴🏻

This Sunday, Lance will be keeping the energy high at our Launch Party 🥳

🕺🏻 On Sunday, come and join us on the dance floor at the ConnectUp Launch Party!

Together with we’ll be delivering fun, interactive, and inclusive dance sessions that encourage everyone to get involved and have a go.

👨🏻‍🦽‍➡️ The dances will be adapted to ensure people of all abilities can participate, connect, and enjoy the experience.

💃🏻 Ballroom Fit is a Registered NDIS Provider and a DanceSport Australia Registered Teaching Facility, delivering Innovative Community Participation programs that promote social, civic, and community engagement through dance.

🪩 They create opportunities for people of all abilities to connect, participate, and enjoy dance at both social and competitive levels.

🎉 The ConnectUp Launch Party is a free community event for people with disability, carers, families, and supporters. Come along to try inclusive sports and activities, meet local organisations, enjoy food and music, and discover new ways to connect through physical activity.

We are delighted to introduce our acoustic musicians who will welcome you at launch party 🎉

🎶 Andrew and Kaye have been performing Australia wide for the past 40 years.

Kaye is a Classically trained singer and Andrew is a Jazz trained saxophonist. They play jazz, blues, MOR, ballads and much more.

They pride themselves on quality music and going above and beyond for their listeners.

🤸🏼‍♀️ The team from believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to move, build confidence, and thrive through physical activity.

🏸 Their accredited exercise physiologists create inclusive, evidence-based exercise experiences that support people of all abilities to improve their health and wellbeing.

At the ConnectUp Launch Party, you’ll have the chance to try some of the same assessment and training tools used by their team, including:

⚡ Live strength testing
🚀 Vertical jump height assessments using the Vortex system
🎯 Interactive reaction training with Blaze Pods

is the peak body representing the needs and interests of the more than 320,000 family carers across Western Australia. Through a range of free supports and services, including leading the delivery of Carer Gateway in WA. helps carers access the information, support, and connections they need.

✨ .stuart from Carers WA has been a driving force behind the co-design of from the very beginning. Stuart recently received national recognition as a Finalist in the Excellence in Innovation category at the Support Awards for his leadership codesigning ConnectUp with people with disability and carers and for his commitment to creating better opportunities for social connection and inclusion.
stuart will be hosting a CarersWA stall at the launch party, so come and say hello, learn about the supports available for carers, and find out how ConnectUp can help you connect with others through physical activity and shared experiences.

All Abilities Program is for members aged 5 and above including teens and adults with diverse needs and abilities.

🏊‍♂️ All Abilities participants interact in the same activities as regular age group Nippers, including beach safety lessons, swimming, and board skills, improving their fitness and coordination, and increasing their confidence through physical activity and learning.

🏖️ The program is based around enjoyment, social interaction, water and beach familiarisation, and physical activity, and is adapted to the unique learning needs of its participants. There are now more than 15 Surf Life Saving Clubs across WA delivering the All Abilities Woodside Nippers Program.
