🚲 We're delighted to deliver new adaptive trikes to education support centres in Bunbury.
Thanks to grant funding, TADWA recently donated three trikes to Newton Moore Education Support Centre and one trike to College Row School creating more opportunities for students to experience the benefits of riding.
Our partnership with Newton Moore has grown over the past two years through several adaptive cycling incursions, where we've seen students build confidence, develop their riding skills and discover the joy of cycling. Several students have even gone on to access their own trikes through NDIS funding.
Earlier this year, we also had the pleasure of visiting College Row School, where students enthusiastically explored a range of modified bikes and trikes, with many quickly overcoming their hesitancy and embracing the opportunity to ride.
With ongoing access to these trikes, students at both schools can continue to enjoy the physical, social and wellbeing benefits of adaptive cycling, while building confidence, participation and connection with others.
We're proud to support schools in creating more inclusive opportunities for students to experience the freedom and enjoyment that riding can provide.
