Companion Card WA The WA Companion Card program helps uphold the right of people with disability to fair ticketing when attending venues and events with a support person.

The WA Companion Card program has been developed to promote the existing right of people with disability to receive fair ticketing for access to venues and events. The Companion Card is a card issued to people with a significant and permanent disability who require attendant care support from a companion to participate at most venues and activities. Cardholders present their card when booking or p

urchasing a ticket from a participating business. Participating businesses who recognise the Companion Card will issue the cardholder with a second ticket for their companion at no charge. The program was launched in April 2006. The Companion Card Program in WA is managed by National Disability Services (NDS WA) and is supported by the State Government of Western Australia through the Disability Services Commission and Lotterywest. We’re delighted to welcome U3A Rockingham as a new Companion Card Affiliate. Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month with activities such as Literary Group, Lunch Group, Mahjong, Scrabble, and WA History. ☕️♟️

Saturday: Discovery & Culture

Morning (Option A): Visit the Museum of Geraldton . The Shipwrecks Gallery is a must-see and the museum is fully accessible.

Afternoon (Option B): Head to the Geraldton Aquarena. A gentle swim is a great way to unwind. They have accessible changing rooms and pool hoists.

The Show: Cap off your day at Park Theatre . (Perfect for the Cirque Nouvelle show on June 6!)

Sunday: Adventure & Fresh Air

Morning: Take a tour with Midwest Adventure Tours . Chat with them about your specific mobility needs; they are great at tailoring the experience for cardholders.

Lunch: A quiet picnic on the Geraldton Foreshore (flat paths and beautiful views).
