A huge thank you to all our passionate supporters and volunteers who joined us for our recent Free the Bears Luncheon, wonderfully hosted by our Patron, Rove McManus.

Free the Bears CEO Matt Hunt shared an inspiring presentation about our recent big bear rescue and the impact of your support, while we were especially honoured to have our founder, Dr Mary Hutton OAM, there to celebrate with us.

It was a wonderful afternoon of great food, entertainment and, most importantly, our community of bear carers. The event was a sell-out and a fantastic fundraising success!

We’re incredibly grateful to all our event sponsors, with a special thank you to Melville Glades Golf Club for hosting us and helping make the day so memorable.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success and for helping us continue our vital work to rescue, protect and care for bears.
