We will be selling toys, kids' clothes and delicious cakes to raise money for our wonderful playgroup.

Hi Friends - late notice i know!. But if anyone is free tomorrow at 10am, a parkwood resident has arranged for a local newspaper to come down to the proposed site for the Telecommunication Tower. If you free, come along to show your support against these plans. Hope to see you there:-)

Hello Everyone,
A proposal to install a 31.5m (approx) Telecommunication Tower right in the middle of Hossack Avenue Reserve has been submitted to City of Canning Council. This is right next door to our beloved Playgroup building and on a recreational reserve that hosts many children and adult sporting games, as well as the playgrounds and cycle tracks.
I won't go into the in's and outs of how terrible this would be for our area, the health issues etc.... but suffice to say Parkwood Playgroup will be opposing these plans by submitting an official petition from its current members.
As our friends and families past and present of Parkwood Playgroup please can we urge and encourage you to submit an objection/s to City of Canning Council.

- In order for your objection to be valid you just need to demonstrate a connection to the intended area that will be affected. So please ensure in the comments section you state that you use the park for recreation or you take your children/grandchildren to the park there or you are a resident, or you go to playgroup etc....
*PLEASE NOTE* Anyone From Any Area CAN Submit an Objection. So tell you family and friends and Share, Share, Share PLEASE!.
We need to act now to protect our children, the local area and our community: DEADLINE for Submission of Views is 21st May 2017.

Hey guys, just a reminder this is our last week of term! Term 2 will commence the 26th of April. Please make sure fees and insurance are up to date and don't forget about the Easter egg hunt on Sunday the 9th at 9am ☺☺
