Whether you're looking to get creative, meet new people, learn something new or just chill after school, Afternoon Hangouts @ SCYS are the perfect place to start.

💜 New young people are always welcome!

There's no booking required for our Afternoon Hangouts—just drop in, say hello and give it a go. Come for one day or come every day... it's completely up to you!

Our experienced and qualified Youth Workers provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive space where young people aged 12–18 can connect, build confidence and have fun.

🌟 Want to have a say in your community?

The Youth Committee for Midland and Surrounds is looking for young people aged 12–25 to get involved!

If you live, study, work or spend time around Midland and the surrounding area, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a space where young people can bring their ideas, talk about the things that matter to them and help turn those ideas into something real. Help plan projects and activities, have input into issues affecting young people, build new skills and meet others who want to make a difference too.

You don’t need any experience, and you definitely don’t need to be the loudest person in the room. If you’ve got something to say, we want to hear it. 💬
