Another Event by Maharashtra Mandal Perth - Chess & Carrom Championship
What an incredible competition we had yesterday!
Our Chess and Carrom participants were truly outstanding and made the event a grand success through their enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all participants, their supporters, and our dedicated volunteers. Without your contribution, this event would not have been possible.
A special thank you to Dr. Sanjay Mukhedkar Ji and Dylan for organizing the Chess Championship so professionally and for encouraging our young participants. Dr. Sanjay Mukhedkar Ji, your vision for promoting chess within our community was inspiring, and we look forward to working towards making it a reality.
My sincere appreciation also goes to Mr. Shivsagar Pawar for efficiently managing the Carrom Championship, addressing all queries promptly, and ensuring the smooth conduct of the competition.
A big thank you to Mr. Pushkar Kulkarni for stepping forward as a volunteer and ensuring that food arrangements were organized and delivered on time.
I would also like to acknowledge all the volunteers who helped with setting up tables, chairs, carrom boards, and other event logistics. Your hard work behind the scenes played a vital role in the success of the day.

What a fantastic MMP Expo it was! 🎉
The Management Committee 2026 would like to sincerely thank everyone who participated and supported the event. It was wonderful to see so many young entrepreneurs showcasing their talents, ideas, and businesses. The Expo featured a great variety of stalls, including some amazing food options that were thoroughly enjoyed by all.
It was great to see the exciting corner of MMP Marathi School, where kids thoroughly enjoyed the fun games, storytelling, and interactive activities. Seeing the children participate with so much enthusiasm and joy added even more energy and warmth to the Expo atmosphere. 😊
We are especially grateful to HSS Perth and Kashmiri Pandit Association Perth for showcasing their culture and giving the community a glimpse into the wonderful work they do. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the ISWA Management Committee, Kannada Sangha and JAWA Association for their presence and for helping promote our event.
Altogether, there were around 60 stalls, each bringing unique ideas, creativity, and diversity to the Expo. The event truly reflected the true spirit of community — people coming together, supporting one another, and building stronger connections.
Lastly, a huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped so efficiently with the setup and pack-up. Your hard work and dedication made the event run smoothly.
Thank you once again to all participants, supporters, and spectators — without you, this event would not have been possible. ❤️

Dear MMP Family,
A heartfelt thank you to all our amazing committee member’s, volunteers, enthusiastic spectators, players, supporters, scorer’s, umpires and the new teams who participated in today’s MMP’s Women’s Cricket Tournament.
Your energy, dedication, teamwork, and support made this tournament a huge success and truly memorable for everyone involved. Special appreciation to every volunteer who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly.
To the new teams Perth Titans, DTP Team and Maratha Rising Warriors— thank you for joining us and adding excitement, sporting spirit, and competitive spirit to the event. We hope this is just the beginning of many more tournaments together.
And to all the spectators and families, your cheers and encouragement created an incredible atmosphere throughout the tournament.

MMP प्रीमियर लीग २०२६ मधील सर्व विजेते, उपविजेते आणि तृतीय क्रमांक पटकावलेल्या संघांचे मनःपूर्वक अभिनंदन! 🏆👏 तुमच्या उत्कृष्ट कामगिरीने, जिद्दीने आणि क्रीडाभावनेने संपूर्ण स्पर्धेला एक वेगळीच उंची प्राप्त करून दिली. प्रत्येक सामन्यातील उत्साह, टीमवर्क आणि स्पर्धात्मकता खरोखरच प्रेरणादायी होती.

या भव्य स्पर्धेच्या यशामागे नियोजनाच्या सुरुवातीपासून ते अंतिम अंमलबजावणीपर्यंत अथक परिश्रम घेणाऱ्या सर्व स्वयंसेवकांचे मनःपूर्वक आभार. तुमच्या समर्पण, वेळ आणि ऊर्जेमुळेच हा उपक्रम इतक्या यशस्वीपणे पार पडू शकला. तसेच आपल्या उदार सहकार्याने आणि विश्वासाने या स्पर्धेला भक्कम पाठबळ देणाऱ्या सर्व प्रायोजकांचे विशेष आभार—तुमच्या योगदानाशिवाय हे शक्य झाले नसते.

अंतिम सामना हा मराठा वॉरिअर आणि धुरंधर ह्या संघा दरम्यान झाला.

- धुरंधर संघा कडून मराठा वॉरिअर संघाला ५७ धावांचे लक्ष देण्यात आले होते.
- मराठा वॉरिअर संघाने सुरुवातीपासून अतिशय उत्कृष्ट गोलंदाजी आणि क्षेत्ररक्षण केले.
- मराठा वॉरिअर संघातील 'योगेश जगदाळे' ह्यांनी 'हॅट्ट्रिक' घेऊन सामन्यावर मजबूत पकड निर्माण केली.
- धुरंधर संघातील महेश आणि श्रेयस ह्यांनी मराठा वॉरिअर संघाच्या गोलंदाचा समाचार घेत ४ षटकाराच्या मदतीने ५६ धाव केल्या.
- धुरंधर संघाची अंतिम धावसंख्या ६ बाद ५६ अशी होती.

खरोखरच अंतिम सामान्य मध्ये मैदानावर उपस्थित सगळ्याची उत्कंठा शिगेला पोहचले होती, कारण शेवटच्या षटकात ७ धावा मराठा वॉरिअर संघाला जिकंण्यासाठी आवश्यक होत्या
- मराठा वॉरिअर संघाकडून श्रीकांत सावंत ह्यांनी नाबाद २९ धावा केल्या.
- अतिशय शांतपणे आणि उत्कृष्ट अश्या समन्वययाने श्रीकांत सावंत आणि सुशांत गावडे ह्याने अगदी शेवटच्या बॉल वर १ धाव काढून मराठा वॉरिअर संघाला 🏆🏆 विजेतेपद मिळवून दिले.
