(1) Projectthink jute bags (ie THINKbags) are handwoven by women who would otherwise be trapped in the Kolkata s*x trade, due to their extreme poverty. In doing so, projectthink provides these women with alternative employment, an escape from a job which they never chose for themselves. (2) Projectthink bags are then shipped all the way to Australia. Our long term plan is to expand the business,

so that the bags are screenprinted by Australians with disabilities, doubling the benefit. (3) Projectthink bags also help to combat the massive problem of plastic bags and polypropylene bags ending up in landfill. It does this by pushing for the introduction of jute bags in mainstream markets. Jute is a type of w**d, and is 100% biodegradable. (4) 100% of our profits are reinvested into our project
