We are so excited to announce our upcoming fundraising!
We have plans to cook minced kebabs (‘koobideh’) and chicken (‘joojeh’) over charcoal on the evening of Saturday, May the 3rd to raise money for charitable causes in our home country of Iran.
We will cover the cost of all ingredients, ensuring that 100% of the funds raised will be sent to people in genuine need of financial support. We were successful in helping many people in need of money for health or financial reasons last year, through trusted connections, and this encouraged us to keep going.
By purchasing some skewers, you can enjoy some delicious food whilst helping to brighten the lives of people in need.
Each skewer of ‘koobideh’ is $12.50 and every 2 skewers will include tomato cooked over charcoal. Each skewer of ‘joojeh’ is $22 and comes with tomato. Koobideh and joojeh are best eaten with rice and bread or even salad but please note that these will not be included.
Orders will be available for collection from Karrinyup after 5:30 pm in three different slots which are 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30. If we’re fully booked for one time slot we may have to offer you another time. My family and friends will offer free delivery for orders over $100
Please note that only cash is accepted.
Some friends will make jams and pickles to sell in addition to raise more money, so please bring some extra cash with you on pick up if you’re interested in these items, and if you wish to make a small donation in addition to your food order, this would be gratefully accepted.
