For the Animals is an Australian charity that works with local communities in one of the last intact forests in Asia, the Southern Cardamom Mountains of Cambodia, to end wildlife trade and deforestation. For the Animals works to protect one of the last intact forests in Asia, its wildlife and people. Our relationship with the founders of Wildlife Alliance has enabled For the Animals to collaborate

and contribute to projects at the local, regional and international levels to stop environmental crime. Examples of these projects include infrastructure for Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre, anti-poaching patrol units, training for international law enforcement bodies, land tenure and sustainable farming for 200+ Cambodian refugees, and care for rescued wildlife.

Protecting Wildlife from Trafficking

For the Animals is an Australian charity dedicated to ending the commercial trafficking of wildlife, the cause of COVID 19 and other pandemics. We work closely with Wildlife Alliance and Freeland Foundation, two leaders in the field of anti-trafficking, to carry out undercover investigations into trafficking syndicates, rescue and care for animals victimised by trafficking, job creation for vulnerable communities and protection of natural habitat for released animals.
