This week we spent two days training our BabyFAST team, who will be delivering our Term 4 program starting next week! 💛

It was such a great couple of days getting to know each other, learning, exploring the BabyFAST approach and starting to plan what this particular program will look like for the young parents and families joining us.

We’re really excited to be partnering with some wonderful local community organisations and to be able to hold the program at the Ellenbrook Youth Centre.

🎉 That’s a wrap on our Term 3 BaP group!

A big shout out to our Term 3 parents who celebrated their final session of BaP! 👏

Lots of chats, laughs, ideas, stories and a fair bit of “yep, my kid does that too” along the way.

It’s been great having this group together, and we’re looking forward to seeing where everyone goes from here. 💛

EPEC - Being a Parent (BaP) program is coming to Dayton!

Parenting is a big job, and sometimes it’s nice to have a little time to focus on you too.

Our free Being a Parent program is a chance to connect with other parents, take some time for yourself and explore a range of practical parenting strategies that can support you and your children.

It’s led by Trained Parent Facilitators, for parents, so you can share experiences, have a chat, pick up some new ideas and feel supported along the way.

One of the things we love about the Being a Parent program is seeing the strategies move beyond the group and into everyday family life. 💛

A mum shared this with our Parent Facilitators — she’s created a feelings space on her fridge and even popped one of the strategies, CHOCS, somewhere she can easily refer back to it.

Simple, practical ideas that can become part of everyday family life. 🫶

This is exactly what we hope parents take away from the program — strategies they can actually use at home.
