502 ACU braved the wet and wild weather this weekend gone to enjoy undertaking field exercise Binh Ba. Cadets undertook lessons in field craft, navigation and ratel procedures, all while working in a section lead by the cadet leadership team.

Morale remained high as our cadets lived up to our motto of “strong alone, stronger together.” For our recruits, this was their first field exercise and first time sleeping under a hootchie.

Well done to all that attended!

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for the ANZAC Day ceremony at the Nedlands War Memorial. It was incredibly special to see community members of all ages come together to honour the service and sacrifice of our veterans and serving defence personnel.

Our thanks to the Nedlands Sub‑branch of RSL WA for partnering with the City, and to the 502 Army Cadet Unit - Karrakatta for their involvement on the day.

Lest We Forget.

Note our own home grown WO2(AAC) Winnall competing for WA.
