AFS Intercultural Programs are the world leaders in intercultural learning and offer international exchange programs in more than 52 countries around the world; through independent, non-profit AFS Organisations - each with a network of volunteers, professionally staffed offices, and volunteer boards. AFS Australia has been exchanging Australian students throughout the world for over 52 years, and
over 60 years worldwide. That’s over five decades in Australia and six decades worldwide of history and experience in international education; with an exemplary record of safety, security, and service to students, parents, and educators. AFS North Perth, Hills, and Joondalup is the local chapter for any participant who lives North of Perth, up to and beyond Joondalup, and out into the Perth hills area. Participants can apply for short term, long term, and adult programs through AFS, whilst being supported by volunteers in the local group. Furthermore, the North Perth, hills, and Joondalup local group also supports students who stay in the area on exchange through AFS. Monthly group meetings are held on every third Wednesday of the month, at Noranda Family Centre, Garson Court Noranda WA 6062; from 7:30pm. Past participants, future participants, and anyone else from the region looking for further information about AFS are welcome to come, as well as current participants staying here from overseas.
