On Saturday we hosted our SportsCARE10 fundraiser to raise money for Sport Chaplaincy! Over 10,000 West Aussie athletes, coaches, and their families have a SportsCARE Chaplain consistently showing up for them in moments of celebration, change, and trauma. That critical care comes at no financial cost to athletes or their club.

We’re on a mission to keep it that way. And to expand SportsCARE's support to even more sporting communities. So our team, friends and family pledged to complete atleast a 10km loop of the swan river - with some going the extra distance (like our chaplains) and completing 5 laps equaling to a total of 50km! ⭐️

Before the school break Yanchep Beach Primary School had wellbeing week! With activities and opportunities to connect throughout the week, it was a great opportunity for the whole community to participate in conversations around wellbeing following RUOK? Day.

The YouthCARE Chaplain Kylie and all the staff at the school were grateful for donations from local churches and businesses with 'goodies' that made the week extra special before they headed into their school holidays!

During the school break, our regional YouthCARE Chaplains and staff are participating in professional development in ‘Understanding Neurodivergence’. Through experiential learning, in partnership with .tafe our team complete a one day course that will better equip them to support neurodivergent students, staff and adults in their roles.

Completing this training equips our organisation with the best knowledge and tools to continue to support the wellbeing of every individual across WA!
