The FASHION FIGHTS team are proud to this year present an exciting new concept and a revolution in fashion fundraising events that will undoubtedly get people talking. Funds raised by FASHION FIGHTS in 2012 will go towards helping The Butterfly Foundation to provide vital support to sufferers of eating disorders and body image issues, and their carers, by, amongst many things, providing support se
rvices, direct financial relief, and delivering education services and awareness campaigns. The Butterfly Foundation is dedicated to bringing about change to the culture, policy and practice in the prevention, treatment and support of those affected by eating disorders and negative body image. The Butterfly Foundation foresees us living in a world that celebrates health, well-being and diversity, and the FASHION FIGHTS initiative for 2012 will endeavour to help encourage all of the above. In its first year, FASHION FIGHTS emerged as a fashion fundraising event initiative and rose over $6000 in funds to support Breast Cancer research, with one hundred per cent of funds raised going to the 2010 charity of choice: The National Breast Cancer Foundation.
