Tomorrow is our regular catch-up for the group that meets every second Tuesday of the month at the beautiful Arts Centre on Kent St in Victoria Park.

We are very lucky to have this space in the community, and encourage everyone to allow some extra time afterwards to enjoy the exhibition on display which changes every month.

There is plenty of free street parking available or at the bowls club next door and morning tea is provided free of charge.

Deepest Gratitude to all who attended and shared so beautiful, bravely and boldly yesterday. No two Death Cafes are ever the same but our shared experiences connect us. Thanks for showing up and creating connection in our community.

You may have already met the host who comes along and supports our Tuesday group. She brings a wealth of heart and knowledge every time she enters the space.

Most of us often avoid discussing the one thing that we all have in common - Death. At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death, dying and end of life matters. No agent, objectives or themes.

Come along for an open and friendly discussion in a respectful and confidential space. Whether you're comfortable or curious about death, you're welcome.

Gratitude to all attendees of today’s Death Cafe at the Victoria Park Centre for the Arts. Lovely to see many familiar faces and welcome new friends. Your generous sharing of experience, knowledge and open hearted discussion leaves us all the wiser.

It’s not just deep, delicate and delightful discussions enjoyed at the Vic Park Death Cafe but cake too! For those who requested the recipe of the Donna Hay Raspberry Cake here it is. I used gluten free flour.

Ignore my handwritten measurements that is to increase quantity when I use my friand tin.
