AVP-WA conducts workshops in prisons, schools and for the general community. Workshops are usually held over two days and are led by a team of facilitators.

One of our National Volunteer Week partners is holding an "Orange Cafe" at Local and Aesthetic in Mt Lawley this Wednesday. They'd love any interested AVP-ers to join them! If you're concerned about being the only AVP-er in attendance, don't be - our Facilitator Sue will be there. As well as being an AVP volunteer, she's also a Soroptimist! 😊

We've just ordered catering for tomorrow's Facilitator Day, but it's not too late to RSVP! Details below.

Date: Saturday, 20th June 2026
Time: 10.00am for morning tea🍰 to 2.30pm
Where: Quaker Meeting House, Mt Lawley

The topic is 'Recourse for Resource'. We'll be looking at everything we, as facilitators, need to run safe, effective, and fun workshops in both prisons and our local community. There'll also be plenty of time to catch up with old and new friends!
