Since its beginnings in 1993, the Mandurah Interclub Triathlon has grown into one of Western Australia's most iconic triathlon events, attracting more than 350 athletes. For its combination of participation, inclusivity, community spirit and enduring popularity it was named Event of the Year.

Sally Pilbeam is one of Australia’s most successful para-triathletes, competing at the top of the sport for more than a decade. An ITU Paratriathlon World Champion, claiming consecutive victories in Edmonton and Chicago in 2014 and 2015, among five medals in five years. Foundation Member of the WA Triathlon Hall of Fame 🏆🎉

Pilbeam's achievements also include representing Australia at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games and winning Oceania and Australian titles.

A true pioneer of triathlon in Western Australia, Rob Pickard has made an extraordinary contribution spanning athlete achievement, coaching excellence and sport administration. A foundation inductee to the WA Triathlon Hall of Fame 👏

As an administrator, he played a foundational role in establishing and growing triathlon in the state as the first elected President of Triathlon Western Australia. He also served as a Board Member and High Performance Manager for Triathlon Australia. Prior to his administration career he raced for more than 35 years winning more than 400 events including the 1987 World Age Group Championship title in Perth.

The Armadale Triathlon Club Inc. Twilight Triathlon was recognised as Club Initiative of the Year for bringing a fresh and innovative concept to the WA triathlon community. By shifting racing to the late afternoon and evening, culminating in a unique twilight or night-time finish, the event created a completely different experience for participants.

The Male Professional Athlete of the Year Award went to Nick Thompson, who finished the 33rd ranked athlete in the world and top Australian having finished second at IRONMAN Cairns and third at IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See, and seventh at 2025 IRONMAN World Championships in Nice.

Simon Beaumont has made a unique and lasting contribution to triathlon in Western Australia as an athlete, media ambassador, commentator and administrator. As one of the sport's early pioneers, Simon helped elevate the profile of triathlon during its formative years and played a significant role in introducing the sport to thousands of Western Australians.

As an athlete, Simon was among the first Western Australians to qualify for, compete in and successfully finish the Hawaii IRONMAN World Championship. Beyond his own racing achievements, Simon's greatest impact may have come through his role as the voice of triathlon in Western Australia as a regular race commentator at triathlon events for 30 years.
