Australian Anglo Indian Association (Inc) The Australian Anglo Indian Association (Inc), Padbury is the pioneer AI Association in Perth, WA.

In 1987/88 there were approximately 12,000 Anglo-Indians living in Western Australia, most of whom lived in the metropolitan area having arrived in this state over the last fifty years. In 1987 it was felt that there was a strong need for the community to come together to provide and promote social, sporting, cultural and recreational activities among members and to engage in those activities that offer financial and other welfare assistance to the disadvantages in the community. With this as background The Association was formally incorporated on 17 November 1988 and at that time was the only Association in Australia totally dedicated to the needs and aspirations of Anglo-Indians.

Hi friends, this is your final reminder not to miss the book launch of Keith Butler's book this coming Sunday. The bonus is that you will get the book signed by the author! The second bonus is that you will have some lovely chaat to go with the launch. This book is truly a wonderful story of the Anglo-Indians, filled with beautiful illustrations by Harry MacLure. It is a fantastic way to learn the history about our community. We were never taught this in school! My little grand-niece would not part with this book once she got her hands on it! We also bought a copy for each of our grandchildren, all duly signed by Keith. By the way, the adults enjoy this too!

To the many of you who have not yet booked, but are still interested I urge you to do so by tonight, for catering purposes. Please inbox us to book a place.

Also, don't forget the great fellowship, as always.
