We 💚 our WA Native Plant Nurseries.
We’re often asked "Where’s the best place to buy native plants?", so we’ve pulled together a list of fantastic Perth nurseries that specialise in Western Australian species:

• APACE Revegetation Nursery — North Fremantle
• Australian Native Nursery — Oakford
• Friends of Kings Park — Plant Sales
• Mahogany Creek Garden Centre — Mahogany Creek
• Muchea Tree Farm — Muchea
• Native Plants WA — Cooloongup
• Trillion Trees Australia — Hazelmere
• WA Wildflower Nursery — Madeley
• Zanthorrea Nursery — Maida Vale

If you’re elsewhere in WA, the WA Wildflower Society list is a brilliant resource with nurseries from all over the state:

We’d love to build a community‑sourced list. What have we missed? Share your favourite native plant nursery in the comments — wherever you are in Western Australia.

Bee Hotel Workshop — this Friday at Kings Park!

We’re excited to be running a hands‑on Bee Hotel Workshop Kings Park these school holidays — and we’re teaming up with the brilliant Kindling Creative to make some truly beautiful hotels.

Kids aged 6+ will learn about WA’s native bees, explore Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park, and build their very own bee hotel to take home. It’s practical, creative and a great way for families to discover how easy it is to support local pollinators.

📅 17 April
⏰ 10:00–11:30am
📍 Kings Park
🎟️ $30 per child (adult free)

Includes a take‑home bee hotel valued at $70.
A perfect mix of nature, creativity and hands‑on learning.

Two more bee hotels for the heart of the city! 💚🐝💚🐝💚

The City of Perth has just installed two of our WA Loves Nature bee hotels in the Victoria Square verge near Royal Perth Hospital — bringing the total to 10 WA Loves Nature bee hotels across the city!

These little structures do big work. They help people notice the native bees already living among us, spark curiosity in busy urban spaces, and show just how easy it is to support biodiversity at home.

A huge thank you to the City of Perth team for championing urban nature and giving our native bees more places to thrive.

Next time you're nearby, check them out and let us know if you see any native bees using them - please!

We were delighted to contribute to the latest issue of Friends of Kings Park - People & Plants Magazine, sharing the story behind the Poolgarla bee hotel and the practical ways people can support native bees in their own gardens.

Have you ever thought about volunteering with the Friends of Kings Park? You get hands‑on experience and the joy of knowing your efforts are helping this beautiful bushland heart of our city.
