Old Scotch Collegians

Founded in 1904, Old Scotch Collegians is the alumni association of Scotch College Perth. Life Membership is open to all Scotch College alumni.

With the vision of a community for life, our mission is: keeping Old Scotch Collegians connected and supporting Scotch as a united body through service, stewardship and giving. Benefitting from our values of loyalty, honesty, integrity, respect and belonging, the OSC contributes significantly to the life of Scotch through:

– Maintaining social and sporting contact between ex-scholars.
– Providing

resources, personal support, mentoring and expertise to the College.
– Providing scholarships and bursaries to support student enrolments.
– Contributing to capital works and infrastructure of the school. The OSC acknowledges the Wadjuk Noongar and Wilman Noongar people, the traditional custodians of the lands and waters on which Scotch College and its campuses stand. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge the Noongar people as the sovereign First Peoples of this place.

Former Scotch College Captain of Boats and stroke of the winning 2021 Head of the River crew, Ben Scott (OSC 2021), will represent Australia at the 2026 World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam.

Racing in the Men’s Coxless Four (M4-), the boat class made famous by Australia’s Oarsome Foursome, Ben now steps onto the senior international stage while serving as Captain of Boats at Harvard University.

A fantastic achievement for Ben and a pretty special moment for the Scotch Rowing programme.

The Class of 1996 celebrated 30 years since leaving Scotch with a fantastic evening at the Claremont Hotel on 31 July.

It was great to see Old Scotch Collegians reconnect and celebrate old friendships. A special thanks to Andre Van Helvoort and Rowan Jones for their work behind the scenes in bringing the reunion together!

The evening also provided an opportunity to give back, with the cohort getting behind a raffle fundraiser to support Murray, the 11-year-old son of fellow ’96 OSC Ian Foulsham, who is raising funds for cancer charities following his recent diagnosis with Ewing Sarcoma.

The annual PSA Old Boys Golf Day returns on Friday 30 October 2026 at Cottesloe Golf Club 🏌️‍♂️

Registrations open at 7.00 pm on 1 August, with numbers strictly limited to 128 players. This event sells out quickly each year, so be sure to register early to avoid missing out!

The day includes lunch, 18 holes of golf, an oyster bar, presentations and dinner.

Congratulations to one of our young OSC's, Harry Frodsham (OSC 2021), for winning this year's Cambridge Australia Frank Downing Scholarship!

The scholarship enables him to undertake a Master of Philosophy (Classics) at the University of Cambridge in 2026/27. His research dissertation will explore how Roman imperial law interacted with provincial legal systems, with a focus on Roman Egypt.

We can't wait to see where his journey takes him next!
