Founded in 1904, Old Scotch Collegians is the alumni association of Scotch College Perth. Life Membership is open to all Scotch College alumni.

With the vision of a community for life, our mission is: keeping Old Scotch Collegians connected and supporting Scotch as a united body through service, stewardship and giving. Benefitting from our values of loyalty, honesty, integrity, respect and belonging, the OSC contributes significantly to the life of Scotch through:

– Maintaining social and sporting contact between ex-scholars.
– Providing resources, personal support, mentoring and expertise to the College.
– Providing scholarships and bursaries to support student enrolments.
– Contributing to capital works and infrastructure of the school. The OSC acknowledges the Wadjuk Noongar and Wilman Noongar people, the traditional custodians of the lands and waters on which Scotch College and its campuses stand. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge the Noongar people as the sovereign First Peoples of this place.

Since 1897, football has been part of the fabric of Scotch College, shaping generations of boys and creating a proud legacy that stretches from the first Alcock Cup victory in 1917 to this year's success.

As we prepare for Founders' Day Dinner, we celebrate the people and traditions behind more than a century of Scotch football while looking ahead to the future of the game.

A trailblazer for women in football, Dixie was WA’s first female television sports reporter and the first woman AFL boundary rider and football commentator on Australian TV.

As the Deputy Chair of WA Football, Dixie has driven a world-leading talent pathway program that is reshaping how boys and girls from all backgrounds are developed from identification to AFL draft.

From striving for an Alcock Cup with his Scotch teammates in 1996 to winning an AFL premiership a decade later in 2006, we’re excited to welcome Rowan Jones (OSC 1996) as a speaker at this year’s Founders’ Day Dinner.

A former Scotch PSA football XVIII Vice-Captain, Rowan went on to play 158 senior games for the West Coast Eagles, including the club’s 2006 premiership. Today, his leadership continues off the field as Head of Entrust Wealth Management and Deputy Chair of the West Coast Eagles.

What a season for Fremantle! Following a remarkable run to the AFL Grand Final, we’re delighted to welcome Simon Garlick, CEO of Fremantle Football Club and current Scotch parent, to this year’s Founders’ Day Dinner.

Join us on Friday 23 October for Inside the Game: Evolution, Leadership and the Future of AFL, an evening exploring the evolution of the game, leadership at the elite level and the future of football in Western Australia.

Simon will be joined by Rowan Jones (OSC 1996), West Coast Eagles Board Member and AFL Premiership Player, with Dixie Marshall, Deputy Chair of the WA Football Commission and sports broadcaster, facilitating the conversation.

Following such a significant season for Fremantle, there’s never been a more interesting time to hear from someone at the heart of the club about leadership, the evolution of the game and what it takes to build towards success at the highest level.

With Scotch also celebrating its 2026 PSA Alcock Cup victory, it’s a fitting time to bring our community together and celebrate the game we love.

Congratulations to Bailey Banfield (OSC 2015) on receiving the 2026 Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award at last night's AFL Brownlow Medal.

Recognised for his commitment to community service and leadership, Bailey was honoured for his work with the Starlight Children's Foundation, Worthy Australia and the Purple Hands Foundation.

The evening was made even more special with the announcement that Bailey and his partner Julia are expecting their first child.

The Scotch community is incredibly proud of the community-minded person Bailey continues to be and we look forward to cheering on the Fremantle Dockers in this weekend's AFL grand final.

Fifty years on from their time at Scotch, the Class of 1976 came together for a memorable reunion at the Gooch Pavilion.

The evening was filled with stories, laughter, and the opportunity to reconnect with classmates whose friendships have stood the test of time.

A special thanks goes to Glenn Paterson for his work behind the scenes in bringing the reunion together and thank you to everyone who attended. It certainly was a reunion to remember!
