A huge thanks to Robyn from Waste Is My Resource for the incredible work done with the City of Bayswater to transform the way local households manage waste. It’s incredible to think of the ongoing and transformational benefits that have come from this wonderful program. Thanks 😊 to all who have participated and especially Robyn.

It was the end of an era today with me presenting the last of 8 years of the City of Bayswater Home Composting program, that involved over 1400 households recording their collected organic waste. A staggering 9 tonne of organic waste per month has been diverted from landfill by composting. It has been a privelege to show these people how easy it is for individuals to make difference to this planet by composting, preventing methane emissions and returning to the soil, microbes which in turn feed our plants. Thankyou to City of Bayswater Environment House / Perth Ecoshop & Sustainability Services and Binh Luong for inviting me.
