IMPORTANT UPDATE - 4WD ADVENTURE

After careful consideration, we’ve made the decision to postpone the 2026 4WD Adventure to 2027.

With communities across the Gascoyne and North West now focused on recovery following Cyclone Narelle, it’s important that we don’t place any additional pressure on regions already working hard to rebuild.

We’ve also considered the current fuel supply challenges in regional WA. Proceeding with a large-scale 4WD event through remote areas would place further strain on fuel access for local communities, primary industries and emergency services.

We know how much this event means to our community, and this decision hasn’t been made lightly. It’s about doing the right thing - for the communities we visit, and for the children and families we support.

We’re already looking ahead to 2027 and will share more details in due course.

All other Variety motoring events will proceed as planned. We’ll keep you updated.

THE HEART OF VARIETY

Some people attend an event once.
Others help shape it for years.

Mandy Prindiville has done both.

For more than 15 years, Mandy has been a driving force behind Variety WA, helping raise vital funds for children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage, or living with disability.

Her journey began in 2010 with the Variety 4WD Adventure. What started as participation quickly became something more. Mandy went on to complete seven events before stepping into the role of 4WD Chair, where she led the event committee and helped guide the event through some of its most successful years.
During her tenure, the event raised an incredible $1.2 million for WA kids.
But Mandy’s impact didn’t stop with one event.

Known for her big personality, infectious energy and ability to bring people together, Mandy has been at the heart of many of Variety’s major fundraising initiatives. She also served as Event Manager for the Variety WA Ball and, in 2018, was elected to the Variety WA Board, where she served for six years.
The true impact of that contribution can’t easily be measured in events or fundraising totals.

It’s seen in the hundreds of children and families across Western Australia who have received support because people like Mandy stepped forward and made things happen.

In recognition of her extraordinary contribution, Mandy was recently awarded Life Membership - one of the highest honours Variety WA can bestow.
Through her time, leadership and generosity, Mandy has helped make that possible for countless WA kids.

A record-breaking result for the Variety WA CREATIVE CAR CRUISE.

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s Creative Car Cruise has delivered the highest fundraising result in the event’s history.

An incredible achievement and a testament to the passion, generosity and dedication of everyone involved.

A huge thank you to the CCC Committee, our amazing participants, and everyone who supported the event along the way. Special thanks to Begs and Kellie for their leadership and the enormous amount of work that goes into bringing this event to life each year.

We hope the CCC was filled with camaraderie, great experiences and lasting memories for everyone who took part.

Most importantly, the funds raised will help Variety continue removing barriers and creating greater opportunities for WA kids and families who need it most.

Thank you for making this the biggest result the CCC has ever seen.

The Creative Car Cruise rolls into Denmark Primary School.

One of the most special parts of the Variety WA CCC is the chance to stop in local communities and see firsthand the difference your fundraising makes.

Our incredible participants recently visited Denmark Primary School, where they had the pleasure of presenting a grant to support the health and wellbeing of students.

Principal Luke Breman shared that the funding will help the school purchase play equipment they have never previously been able to afford, creating more opportunities for students to play, connect and thrive.

Moments like this are a powerful reminder of why Variety WA exists - bringing people together to help create brighter futures for WA kids.

During the Creative Car Cruise, participants made a special stop at Cowaramup Primary School, where they had the pleasure of presenting the school with a grant.

The visit was met with huge excitement from students, staff, and families, with many parents sharing how special it was for the children to see the cars arrive and to learn more about the purpose behind the Cruise.

Principal Jamie Adair said the impact of the visit was felt well beyond the school gates. “The kids haven’t stopped talking about it, and we’ve had lots of parents commenting as well,” he said. “The grant will help support the development of writing across the school by providing new teacher and student resources that will benefit our students for years to come.”

Moments like these are a powerful reminder for CCC participants of why they fundraise - helping create opportunities and remove barriers for children across Western Australia.

Over the next four days, an incredible convoy of vehicles will travel through WA’s South West and Great Southern, raising vital funds to support children and families who need it most.

Participants will visit regional towns and schools along the journey, connecting with communities and seeing firsthand the impact their fundraising creates for WA kids.
