Great to see so much interest in the World Bee Day celebrations in the city today.
WAAS was well represented and there was a steady stream of visitors including Hugh Jones MLA representing the Minister for Agriculture. ABC radio also broadcasted from the event in the afternoon.

Tonight's WAAS meeting we had Helen Humphreys teaching us all things creamed honey, followed by blind tasting of creamed honey by 4 methods and flavoured honeys, chai, chocolate, chilli and vanilla.
After supper we heard from
Ian Creaser, who is visiting from Canada and his experience beekeeping in Nova Scotia and how different it is to our beekeeping in WA.
Both sessions have been recorded and will be available on the WAAS website in next couple of weeks.
