Powerhouse Dreams Powerhouse Dreams aims to help families in WA access information, support, specialised equipment and therapy for children with developmental disabilities.

We have great plans to help families of children with disabilities throughout WA. We want to be able to offer an information and advocacy service as well as a mentoring program. Raising a child with a disability can be a financial and emotional strain. Government services fall significantly short of meeting the therapy and equipment needs of those with neurodevelopmental disorders. One way to over

come this shortfall is for families to fundraise to help subsidise the costs associated with raising a child with a disability. However to fundraise in Western Australia you need to be able to do so under a charity license. Individuals cannot apply for a charity license which creates a major hurdle for families wanting to fundraise. Powerhouse Dreams has become a legal entity for families to be able to fundraise through. Together we can make a difference to families of children with developmental disabilities.
