Last night, we, along with Perth Male Voice Choir were privileged to give a big warm Welsh welcome to the ladies of Wales Rugby League - Rygbi Cynghrair Cymru to Perth ahead of their first match against England this coming Saturday 17th October at HBF Park!

We had a wonderful evening celebrating our collective Welsh culture with the ladies, with three songs performed by the choir, speeches from myself as President, the Hon. Bob Kucera (both the society and choir’s Patron) & choir member Dai Bonner. Delicious Welsh Cakes provided by With Cariad and special gifts of Wales and Perth gifted to each player from the society.

We will all be there on Saturday cheering on our girls! Join us by booking your tickets via our exclusive discount code on Ticketmaster :

Diolch to all the new and familiar faces who attended our second Peint a Sgwrs today at The Woodvale Tavern and Reception Centre! We had 26 attend and the lovely Georgia Lougher from With Cariad gifted us some delicious Welsh cakes! 😍 They went down a storm and not one was left! It was wonderful to meet and chat to our new and prospective members today 😃 Myself and the committee look forward too seeing everyone at our next event soon!

A message request we have received via email today :

Does anyone have the album Thank you for the years by Dame Shirley Bassey. Our father has passed and I would like to play the title song from the album. Unfortunately not available on Spotify or anywhere else I look.

Thank you
Beth Turnbull Joondalup

If anyone can help Beth out with lending the album please reply on here of via messenger so we can connect you both.

Diolch in advance to our Perth based Welsh followers and members.

Thank you to Perth Male Voice Choir and their President Ellis Griffiths for inviting myself as President of the Welsh Society of WA to their Century of Singing concert as their guest, on Friday 14th August at Fremantle Town Hall. This was exactly 100 years since the choir performed for the very first time, to the date and location! It was a wonderful performance and added surprise performance by Paul O’Neill and Teddy Tahu Rhodes on their night off from performing in Eugene Onegin! Congratulations to the choir on their 100th anniversary! I’m looking forward to attending their Gala concert 100 voices for 100 years on 1st November at Churchlands Concert Hall! I have already purchased my tickets, as Friday was a sell out I strongly suggest you get in early!
