Scouting is open to both girls and boys. Will you like it? You never know until you give it a go. Weekly meetings:
Joeys (5.5-8yrs) Tuesday 5.10pm - 6.10pm
Cubs (8-11yrs) Tuesday 6.15pm - 7.45pm
Scouts (11-15yrs) Thursday 6.30pm - 8.30pm
Venturers (15-18yrs) In recess

Shopping night 🛒
Karrinyup Joeys had done a fundraising for Radio Lollipop. We had eventually made $128.50. We had done some shopping in Osborne Park Officeworks then we will do sorting next week.

Karrinyup Joeys are doing Radio Lollipop Service Project this term. We read the story “Giving Tree” and created our Giving Tree tonight. Each Joeys wrote something they can do to help their families on the leaves. Then they are going to earn money from parents by doing these chores and house works. We are going to use these money to buy activity books, toys, crayons 🖍️, colour pencils, craft kits, etc. to make the activity bags. Those bags will be donated to Radio Lollipop to distribute to children hospitals.

We are hoping to raise $100 then we can make 10 activity bags. The 1st day, we had raised $14. Well done Joeys. 😃

🌟 What an incredible ANZAC Day morning!

My heart is absolutely full seeing so many of our incredible youth members and leaders rise before the sun to join forces with our friends from Hammersly Scouts this ANZAC Day.

Together, we stood at the RSL Sub Branch in Osborne Park to march and pay our respects to those who served, sacrificed, and shaped the freedoms we enjoy today. Watching our young people show up.. early, proud, and present is exactly what Scouting is all about.

Lest we forget. 🌺

A huge thank you to the Hammersly Scout Group for joining us, to our dedicated leaders, and most of all to our amazing youth members who understood the importance of this moment. You make us incredibly proud.

🏕️ What an incredible week at OneCamp! 🌟

Our Karrinyup Scouts absolutely smashed it!, throwing themselves into every single activity with enthusiasm, grit, and massive smiles. From the first challenge to the last, they gave it everything they had and made us so proud! 💪

One of the highlights? Getting to team up with their camp buddies all the way from Newman! 🤝 It's amazing what happens when you bring young people together from across WA..... instant friendships, incredible teamwork, and memories that will last a lifetime.

To every Scout who pushed themselves outside their comfort zone last week, we see you, and we are SO proud of you. And to our new friends from Newman, it was an absolute pleasure sharing camp with you! We hope our paths cross again very soon. 🙌

Day 1 of OneCamp - The scouts arrived from both Newman and Karrinyup and completed the setup our camp with the help of a few leaders. After dinner the scouts went down to the oval for the opening party complete with DJ and pyrotechnics. After the party eagle and Alice helped with the popcorn at movie night in the other stage! What a great day 1, can’t wait to see what the rest of the week will bring !

Karrinyup Scouts are on their way to One Camp in the Swan Valley. Last night we worked together to pack up the trailers and this morning Kookaburra, Nathan and Eric are delivering the precious cargo to site for the one week camp with over 2000 scouts from all over the country !

Tonight the scouts got together to create an entry way for up the up and coming state OneCamp, they also assembled a garden cart which will be used to cart supplies around the camp and we tested a new hot water system, gas burners and LED lights for the camp !

The scouts at Karrinyup Scouts Group had a great night honing their culinary skills ahead of OneCamp by making burgers at the hall while Kookaburra and Eric played with the tents !

Karrinyup Cubs met at the Scarborough Beach Pool on Tuesday to test their water skills and life jackets ahead of a couple of boating / paddling excursions later this month ! A great time was had by all despite the weather not entirely being on our side !
