Caring for some of our sickest patients for nearly 12 years – including heart and lung transplant recipients and organ donors – is why Fiona Stanley Hospital Intensive Care Unit Clinical Nurse Rosy, is taking part in the Capital Limited Breaths & Beats Ride.
This will be Rosy’s third year participating in the ride, and her message to her colleagues is simple: give it a go.
“You don't have to be an elite cyclist or regular long-distance rider to take part. Whether you're inspired by the cause, enjoy being active, or just want to spend a morning with colleagues, friends or family, I would encourage anyone to give Breaths & Beats a go.”
Riding to and from every shift, Rosy gets her training in via her daily commute, and she’d love more colleagues to join her! 🚴♀️
