Rumours had been floating around, but we've just received confirmation on these new Pokemon games!

Details are slowly trickling in, but for now;

- Features first 151 Pokemon
- Interacts with Pokemon go (presents?)
- Return of following Pokemon (from Yellow and HGSS)
- Wild Pokemon roam the overworld, but are not battled, only captured (trainer battling is still a thing)
- Return of the Pokewalker device from gen 2

Some shocking news today as we have found out that starting May 1st at 1 PM PDT which is May 2nd 4am for Perth Players. New research quests will be focused on Electric and Flying type Pokemon, and some will be based on skill. If you managed to collect 7 stamps (note stamps can only be collected once a day) you'll be rewarded with an encounter with the legendary Pokemon Zapdos.

Get ready for more Field Research tasks in May! On May 1 at 1:00 P.M. PDT, a brand-new set of Field Research tasks focusing on Flying- & Electric-type Pokémon will become available, including skill-based tasks that will challenge your abilities as a Trainer.

Thanks to the effort of many during this year's Earth Day, Pokemon Go was going to award us with 3x Stardust for Grass Water and Ground type Pokemon with mass spawning of those types for 48hrs. However since we did such a great job, we've been rewarded with the event lasting til the 30th of April/1st of May depending on timezones

I was lucky enough not only to get a 96% Shiny Mareep which is now an Ampharos i managed to do my 1st ever Mewtwo raid and to catch a 100% Mewtwo

Pokemon Originally Discovered in the Kanto Region will be spawning more frequently, Aerodactyl and Snorlax will be raid bosses and special boxes with Raid passes be able to be bought.

This event will be ending on the 17th of April.
During this event you'll also be able to score x2 Candy
