Some of DSWA’s playgroup kids had the pleasure of meeting the amazing Emma Watkins today ahead of the Telethon7 Perth weekend.
Telethon fund DSWA’s Family Support including the three playgroup run weekly.

For kids living with Down syndrome, who often face daily developmental and medical hurdles, the special visitor wasn’t just a performer, she was a beacon of familiar warmth.

Last Thursday, we had such a magical day with Dress for Success Western Australia.

Our members took part in a first impressions masterclass, created confidence and goal-setting journals, and enjoyed styling and makeup masterclasses.

Each member was paired with a stylist who helped them find an outfit that reflected their body shape, personality and personal style. Watching our ladies walk out of the dressing rooms with huge smiles and growing confidence was truly special.

A huge thank you to the entire Dress for Success Western Australia team for creating such a welcoming, empowering and inclusive experience for our members. You made our ladies feel special and celebrated. They described it as “the best day ever!”
