Pippa’s Coffee, Cuddles & Kings Park Takeover ☕🌳🐶

A few weeks ago, our special girly Pippa got to enjoy a very exciting day out filled with fun thanks to our incredible volunteer Jean and we knew we had to share it with you all! 🥹

"Our adventure started with a puppuccino at our favourite café, Slow Daze, where we stopped by to support Coffee for a Cause. Pippa took her ambassador duties very seriously, charming everyone she met and offering complimentary portable heating services by doubling as a giant heat pack and feet warmer. 🤣

After soaking up plenty of cuddles and compliments, we headed to Kings Park. It was the perfect morning for an adventure. Pippa enjoyed all the important things in life: plenty of sniffs, meeting fellow walkers, and admiring the local wildlife from a respectful distance. She was an absolute superstar on lead and showed off her impeccable manners.

Of course, no outing is complete without a trip to choose a treat and toy. Pippa is 100% a treat girlie, and her nose locked onto the treat aisle faster than we’ve ever seen. We picked out something crunchy (and smelly) along with a bunny toy to keep her company on the ride home.

Throughout the day, we spoke to so many people about the Dogs' Refuge Home. Pippa did her best to convince everyone that there are few things more rewarding than helping rescue dogs on their journey to finding a forever home.

By the time we headed back to the refuge, Pippa had finished her meet-and-greet tour for the day and was dozing in the back seat before we were halfway home. 💤"

This cutie patootie is Alice 🩷

A 5 year old Kelpie mix, miss Alice is a lovely, gentle, affectionate girl with an independent streak! She enjoys spending time with her favourite people but is also very happy exploring the world with her nose 🐕Whilst she isn't a social butterfly when it comes to other doggies, Alice has the potential to make nice walking pals with guidance from her people and thanks to her beautiful nature, would suit living with older kids 🐶🥰

Introducing Luna 🌙

This sweet little girl is a 6 month old Pomeranian x Japanese Spitz who is ready to find her perfect home, somewhere she will be pampered like she truly deserves!

Luna has received wonderful foster feedback, learning things very quickly and showing what a perfect family member she will make. Luna could share her home with a doggy brother as she adores other dogs and would love to go on fun adventures with her humans 🐾🐶 She has such a beautiful friendly nature and loves to say hello to all!

Patch and his two brothers arrived in our care at 5 months old, they'd been living on a property which they'd never left, so the outside world felt quite scary for them. After receiving medical checks, Patch has gone on foster to ease his stress and keep him more comfortable.

His foster carers say he is a loving, affectionate snuggle bug who thrives in a calm home and is very comfortable with home life, although loud noises can startle him. He enjoys lying with you on the couch and often snuggles close, and he loves being wrapped in blankets.

Once Patch finds his forever home, that opens up a foster home to care for another dog who isn't coping in kennels or needs a little extra care 💙 Our kennels are absolutely full, there are over 100 dogs who would love to take his spot.

Ninja is literally always smiling! 😄😄

This gorgeous big boy is a very happy chappy but the busy kennel environment has left him feeling a bit overwhelmed and he'd really love to get out of here and into a loving home where he can bond with his new family🥰

At just 1.5 years old, young Ninja already knows some basic obedience and is very eager to explore the big world around him alongside his doggy pals 🐶 Ninja would be best suited to a home with kids 10+ and people home often to help him settle in 💙

This big, beautiful 3 year old American Staffy is super excited about absolutely everything! Whether he's enjoying attention from his people, getting out for a sniffy walk or making dog pals, Boston is truly just happy to be included 🤩

Whilst he loves to get out and stretch his legs, Boston also thrives with lots of mental enrichment - he is a smart boy after all! This lovely chap will suit a home with capable handlers and dog savvy teens where he will be spoilt with all the love and company he deserves 💙
