Some stories whisper like white noise. Some roar like the crash of ocean waves. Some make us laugh out loud. Together, they create a symphony of voices, places and possibilities.

The theme for Book Week 2026 is โ€˜Symphony of Storiesโ€™, so we asked the TLC team to choose a sound that reminds them of their favourite reading experience ๐Ÿ“š

Our first Young Writers workshops for the Term with Ash Harrier ๐ŸŒŸ

The Year 6s got to create character police profiles, brainstorm supernatural powers, and make their own little monsters with blu tack and googly eyes. ๐Ÿ‘€

Ash's workshops were the perfect space for the young writers to brew new ideas for future books and stories. We'd like to thank her for bringing so many creative ideas and activities to our program!
