Claisebrook Cove parkrun number 707 03/10/26

This week 345 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 99 were first timers and 44 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 28 different clubs took part.

Claisebrook Cove parkrun started on 4th August 2012. Since then 22,798 participants have completed 136,673 parkruns covering a total distance of 683,365 km, including 19,845 new Personal Bests. A total of 2,061 individuals have volunteered 9,256 times.

Thanks for everyone who has stood up so far the only critical role left to be filled for tomorrow is rabbit or TIMEKEEPER if you prefer.

We'd also love to have someone to walk around before and after getting signatures on the look ahead roster as well as a photographer.

PS if it helps with your enthusiasm Run The World participants will be there too.

PPS for those of you who plan ahead your CC event team have just locked in Christmas Day and New Year's Day as extra events.

"When I was younger sooo much younger than today, I never needed anybody's help ev'ry Thursday (& Friday). "- Why? Because I'd never volunteered to be a Run Director at parkrun!
HEEELP
As we were off last Saturday we weren't able to politely twist your arms at the finish so we are a little short.

1. Timekeeper
2. Finish tokens
3. T/A marshal (you'll get everyone saying thank you!) ,
4. Tail Walker (you're the only one to get to wear yellow)

That's the critical stuff, in addition

3. Volunteer coordinator (you'll get to persuade other people to volunteer in the subsequent weeks (by chatting before and after the event), and you can run/walk.
4. Photographer - does what it says on the tin

You will be the subject of love and affection from maybe 235 on average, 23 thank yous more than you would have got last year people - what's not to like.

And we're back... see below the two new bits of path which you'll be able to run on for the FIRST time if you come down this weekend. In addition you'll be able to join in the celebrations of parkrun's 22nd birthday by perhaps wearing a tutu.

Two good reasons to come and celebrate at Claisebrook Cove this Saturday!

Just a reminder that Claisebrook Cove parkrun is closed this Saturday due to path works on our course.

In case you didn't know already, our friends over the river at Burswood Peninsula parkrun are also closed. We invite you to take the opportunity to tour to one of the many other wonderful parkruns in Perth....
..or have a sleep in, but don't sleep too long, we will be open again on 3rd October. See you then.
