Our precious Imelda ❤️

We’ve known and loved Imelda since she was a tiny baby, when she was rescued from an incredibly vulnerable situation and brought into the care of a beautiful family who opened their home and hearts to her.

That was the beginning of something for us too.

We made a commitment to Imelda.

Not just to help in that moment, but to be there as she grew. To walk alongside her, care about the little things and the big things, and do everything we can to see her flourish.

And what a joy it has been to watch her grow.

Today, Imelda is aged 7 and deeply loved by her family and doing wonderfully at a great local school. She is precious to us, and our commitment to her is just as strong today as it was when she first came into our lives.

Right now, that means making sure her education continues and she has everything she needs for school.

We need to raise $980:

$680 — School fees
$300 — Uniform, school books, clothes, shoes and a special Christmas dress

If anyone would like to help support Imelda, please jump on this link to donate or head to the bio: https://waterforafrica.com.au/our-precious-imelda/

All donations over $2 are tax deductible in Australia and tax exempt in the USA.

Today we celebrated Titho, the brilliant young man he is, and all he has achieved through his willingness to learn, grow and embrace every opportunity.

Today, he steps into a new season as Farm Manager of the WFA Legacy Farm.

We are incredibly proud of you, . So well deserved. Congratulations! 👏🏽

10 communities in our region of Tanzania are walking a combined 20,000 km every single day to collect contaminated water.

That’s the equivalent of walking from Perth to Sydney FIVE times — or halfway around the globe — every day.

It’s hard to even comprehend.

We’ve set a goal to STOP THEIR WALK.
