Very close to our hearts...♥️

Kibengu Health Centre in the Mufindi District of the Iringa Region, is facing a shared and urgent challenge that is directly impacting the safety of mothers and newborns during childbirth.

At the centre, there is no reliable access to clean water on-site. When labour begins, women are often left with no choice but to find and bring all the water needed for delivery into the birthing room before they can give birth. In some cases, this responsibility falls not only on families, but on women in active labour themselves, at a moment when they should be receiving urgent care and support. In the search for water, we have heard reports of women giving birth on the way, resulting in heartbreaking outcomes.

Without water immediately available, essential practices such as sterilising equipment, cleaning delivery spaces, and maintaining hygiene during birth are compromised. What should be a safe, supported, and dignified experience instead becomes one marked by urgency, risk, and preventable tragedy.

This June, we are hoping to help 10 desperate communities receive clean water for the first time. Kibengu Health Centre is one of those communities.

$8500 gives them safe clean water for life. Never underestimate the impact of your small or big donation, it's what makes the solution possible.

10 communities in our region of Tanzania are walking a combined 20,000 km every single day to collect contaminated water.

That’s the equivalent of walking from Perth to Sydney FIVE times — or halfway around the globe — every day.

It’s hard to even comprehend.

We’ve set a goal to STOP THEIR WALK.

Grateful beyond words.
"Working alongside an incredible team and partners who are so much more than donors, you carry love, faith and real change into places that need it most. To witness clean water flowing in this school for the very first time… it’s something I’ll never take for granted.
This is what hope looks like. Thank you for being part of it."

Nestled in rural Tanzania, the Water for Africa Farm has become our headquarters and a hub of transformation.

Through a not-for-profit model, 40 acres of avocado trees have been planted, providing jobs, skills training, and produce for global markets. As the trees mature, each harvest will help fund clean water projects and take the Good News of Jesus Christ into rural communities.

But this farm is more than crops and clean water—it is a living community where discipleship restores hearts and renews lives. It is a place where leaders are raised up to carry transformation to villages and the nation, a farm patterned after God’s prophetic blueprint, and above all, a dwelling place of His presence—where every visitor is invited to encounter Jesus and be forever changed.

It’s the heartbeat of our mission.

“For the past three years our Year 3 students have loved the Walk for Water. It’s been powerful in helping them understand the cause, not just raise money. Experiencing what children around the world face every day makes the impact of clean water real—and we’re grateful to be part of Water for Africa’s incredible work!”
