Find Your Feet Foundation, Perth (2026)

Find Your Feet is a Not-for-Profit foundation providing relief and assistance to families in crisis the option to apply for a one off grant to assist with rental payments. As a foundation support model, Find Your Feet provides families in crisis with a home which is:

Fully furnished;
Fully equipped with provisions for daily living requirements;
Fitted with a secure grassed play area for childre

n; and
In close proximity to public transport, local shopping centres and neighbourhood amenities. Find Your Feet links local support services to provide assistance such as trauma counselling, financial advice and career counselling. Together with other community members participating in this initiative, we effectively build stronger connections in the community and resilience for families in crisis across our state.

There are many factors in today’s society that are influencing the increased amount of stress on families in our communities. We help families dealing with adversities such as unemployment, ill-health and
domestic violence, who are in need of temporary accommodation while they aim to manage the impacts of their current circumstances on their family and future prospects.

The adversities which we consider include threats to:

Financial security due to family separation;
Physical health and safety;
Refusal of government assistance as a result of their perceived positive financial situation;
Disruption to children's wellbeing; and
Personal security and safety

These families are critical members of our community and the hardships they face also have flow on effects to the organisations and systems in which they operate, such as schools, religious networks and places of work.

To continue with the update earlier this month revising how this foundation continues to adapt to support WA locals who have less 'traditional' circumstances, we have agreed to contribute to an incredible out of the box application!

This time, we are asking you to also donate, and the FYFF will match donations up to the value of $1,000 - which equals our standard maximum Grant amount.

Big update from the Find Your Feet Foundation ❤️
We’ve just paid out our 7th rental grant subsidy to local WA families – and we’re truly humbled by the positive difference it’s making right across our state, from Perth to regional communities.
Every grant helps ease rent stress and gives families the support they need.
We’re continuing to explore and adapt the ways our grants can provide help – especially for those whose living situations don’t fit the usual mould.
